CI36 Community Site Tags

Content on the CI36 community site can be identified with one or more keywords, called "tags". These words indicate what the content is about. For example, one might search for all photos and videos tagged with the keyword "performance" to find uploaded stuff related to performance.

Tagging a piece of content is as simple as typing in a couple words in the "Tags" box that appears whenever you upload a new photo or video, create a new blog post, or start a new forum discussion.

We recommend that each group choose a unique tag that group members can use to identify content connected with the group. Then, whenever a member uploads photos, videos, and other content that is related to the group's activity, they can use the tag, making the group's content easy to find.

The group tag should be some short version of the group name, without spaces, all letters lowercase. It is suggested to choose a tag that is 15 characters or less. For example, a group dedicated to site-specific performance, which is named the "Site-Specific Performance Group", might use a tag like "site-specific".

If relevant, in group creator should indicate the group's tag in the group's description, and suggest that it be appled when members upload content associated with the group.
