The Underscore
The Underscore is a framework for ensemble movement improv – a "score" - with a foundation in Contact Improvisation. It involves an intuitive progression and many elements similar to what happens in jams, but with a more organized progression and focus. It was designed and developed by Nancy Stark Smith, who was central to the founding and development of CI.
