Gray Bursts Ragged

The full view of Gray Bursts. I don't use frames when I hang my drawings, I just use blue tack. (I used to use scotch tape, which you can see here.) Framed they feel a bit more removed from the things I actually made, a little less real. Similarly, when I make them I often paper from around the pastel-heavy area, exposing the paper grain. I included those ragged edges in this photo. These measures heighten the contrast between the medium and the drawn image. For me, these measures make the images seem more pronounced, more substantial.
